The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS) has cautioned Ghanaians who wish to travel to Côte d’Ivoire by road for the 2023 CAF African Cup of Nations to observe the Border Crossing Requirements.
According to a statement released by the Ministry on Thursday, January 4, Ghanaian football enthusiasts are required to to travel along with their Passports/ Ghana Card, Yellow Fever Card and Meningitis Vaccination.
The Black Stars of Ghana are currently pitching camp in Ghana where they are scheduled to square off with Namibia on Monday, January 8 at the Dr Kwame Kyei Stadium in Abrankese before departing Ghana for Abidjan days after.
Having been paired along side six- time champions Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique in Group B, Ghana will be hoping to end their trophy drought since they last won the title in 1982.
The four-time winners will open their campaign against Cape Verde on Sunday, January 14 before locking horns with Egypt on Thursday, January 18 and Mozambique on Monday, January 22 respectively.
