Because of the heavy rains in Sameraboi, officials have cancelled the match between Samartex and Nations FC on match day 19 of the Ghana Premier League.
At the Nsenkyire Sports Complex this afternoon, Samartex, who presently lead the domestic top flight, were set to play Nations FC.
However, because of the severe rain, officials opted to reschedule the match since they didn’t think the ground was suitable for both teams.
Tomorrow at 10 a.m., the game will take place at the same location.
With 35 points, the Timber Giants are five points clear of the second-place Aduana Stars at the top of the table.
With 27 points, Nations FC, on the other hand, is ranked fifth in the Ghana Premier League rankings.
