Ghana winger Osm,an Bukari dusted off the 2023 AFCON disappointment with a brilliant goal for Red Star Belgrade on Saturday in the Serbian league against FC Cukaricki.
Bukari converted a fantastic spot kick to give his side all three points in the thrilling clash that ended 3-0 in their favour.
Red Star took the lead early in the game when Kanga coolly converted a penalty in the ninth minute, which was given when Cukaricki defender Nemanja Tošić fouled.
Red Star kept controlling the ball and displaying their attacking ability.
In the 36th minute, Cherif Ndiaye increased their lead by putting the ball in an empty net after an outstanding last pass from In-Beom Hwang.
But Bukari was the real star of the show, winning the match with his talent and poise.
After Ndiaye was pulled down in the box, the Ghanaian forward scored a well-taken penalty in the 75th minute to seal Red Star’s triumph.
In the Superliga this season, Buakri has made 19 appearances, contributed four assists, and scored six goals.
