Kudus Mohammed joins Ghana team mates, holds first training with Black Stars

Ghana and West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus held his first training with his Black Stars team mates after being absent for over a week.

The playmaker joined the Black Stars on Tuesday after the side’s pre-AFCON friendly clash with Namibia.

Kudus had delayed in joining his team mates after suffering a slight injury while playing for West Ham United in their clash with Arsenal in the English Premier League.

The 23-year-old player linked up with the Ghana national team on Tuesday morning and later joined in training in the evening at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The creative enforcer started with the group in training before he was isolated for special training due to his long absence from the team.

Ghana find itself in Group B for the AFCON, alongside Egypt, Cape Verde, and Mozambique.

The Black Stars will journey to Cote D’Ivoire on Wednesday, January 10, departing from Accra.
