Athletic Club forward Inaki Williams has joined the Black Stars squad in Kumasi on Friday, January 5, ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Ghana International is one of two players who were yet to join the team following the opening of camp on Tuesday, January 2.
Inaki had to delay his flight to Ghana as the player battled a short illness according to the Athletic Bilbao medical team.
The Bilbao talisman is one of three Centre-forwards named in Black Stars coach Chris Highton’s squad for the biggest tournament in Africa which will to be staged in Ivory Coast later this month.
Ghana will play a friendly with Namibia before their departure to Abidjan for the 34th edition of the competition.
