In-form dreams FC youngster Abdul Aziz Issah leads a pack of talented players selected by coach Desmomd Offei to represent Ghana at the 2024 African Games.
The young Ghana U20 manager named his 20-man squad who will have the honour to represent Ghana at the 13th African Games Accra 2023 Men’s Football Competition.
Abdul Aziz who has been swashbuckling for dreams FC in their CAF Confederation Cup campaign as well as the Ghana Premier League has courted the headlines in Ghana following his form.
Aziz is currently leading the goal king chart in the CAF Confederation Cup with 4 goals and an assist, summing a 5-goal contribution in the competition so far.
His goalscoring technique in all competitions this season has become the talk of town as many argue for his inclusion in the senior national team – The Black Stars.
Haven’t helped Dreams FC to win the MTN FA Cup last season has carved for himself an enviable record at just 18.
The squad is made up of three goalkeepers, six defenders, five midfielders, three wingers and three strikers.
Ghana will kickstart the competition on Friday, March 8, 2024 against Congo before taking on Gambia in their second Group A game on March 12, 2024.
The Black Satellites will face Benin in the last group match on March 15, 2024.
All three group matches will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The team will be captained by centre back Asamoah Kuffour in the competition which will be held in Accra from March 8-23, 2024.
