TSG Hoffenheim fans have called for more game time for Ghana defender Kasim Adam after he stole the show at the WWK Arena in a club friendly with FC Augsburg on Saturday night.
The Blue and whites were visitors to FC Augsburg in a friendly that ended 1-0 in favour of the home side.
Despite losing the game, TSG Hoffenheim were consoled with the stupendous performance of Kasim who was introduced into the game in the second half.
The Ghana center back instantly impacted on his side positively, guarding the back with aggression and intelligence.
Kasim who has not seen a single minute for Hoffenheim did not show an iota of sign of someone who has not played a game the whole season.
His precision in passing and quick recoveries has sparked a new conversation among Hoffenheim fans who believe he has not been treated fairly by the technical team of the side.
Many questioned why he’s not been given the opportunity to play despite the club’s struggles at the back in the Bundesliga.
Hoffenheim have conceded 30 goals in 16 games without Kasim and the fans have been asking questions from their leadership.
The Instagram handle of the club was on fire on Saturday night after the game with many applauding the quality of Kasim amidst asking the coach why the Ghanaian has not been given minutes.

Kasim joined Hoffenheim in 2017 and has had a difficult time with the Bundesliga side.
His loan move to FC Basel in Switzerland proved that the Ghanaian’s quality is never in doubt guiding them to 5th on the table and earning a UEFA Conference League spot.
With high expectations that Kasim will be given the chance at Hoffenheim, the Ghanaian was again kept in the cold room despite his high-level performance for FC Basel.
Hoffenheim manager Pelligrino Matarrazo will have to convince the fans by giving Kasim playing time in their coming games.
Hoffenheim plays Bayern Munich on Friday in the German Bundesliga.
