Ghanaian teenager Clinton Edem Wilson has completed a move to the u16 side of Bundesliga giants Bayer Leverkusen following successful trials.
The gifted forward is becoming well-known in Germany for his deft playmaking and keen sense of intuition when it comes to the game.
After playing for Nima City FC to start his football career, Clinton Edem Wilson attended Pro Players Football Academy to hone his abilities.
Scouts were drawn to his extraordinary skills, which led to him playing in youth competitions such as the Salza Cup for FC Eichsfeld in Germany.
It’s hardly surprising that Wilson chose to join Bayer Leverkusen’s U-16 squad given his stellar career record.
Wilson’s skills have been praised by Bayer Leverkusen U-16 head coach Mirko Casper, who also plans to give him plenty of playing time in the U-16 Middle Rhine League and other young competitions.
Wilson has already played for the Ghana U-15 national team in his football career.
