Ghana Supporters set to launch official website, social media handles

Ghanaian soccer fans who have devoted their time and energy to support all national teams as well as all sports federations are set to launch their official website.

The event is expected to take place at the Omaye Hall at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly on Friday, January 5, 2024.

The colourful event will also include the outdooring and launching of their social media handles in addition to the official website.

Set to start at 9am prompt, the eye-catching program will be graced by the Minister of Youth and Sports – Hon. Mustapha Ussif – who is the custodian of all sporting disciplines in the country.

Also in attendance will be the president of the Ghana Football Association – Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku as well as heads of other sporting federations.

Sports enthusiast and Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central Constituency Hon. Patrick Yaw Boamah will also be in attendance.

The event will mark the genesis of a new era in the history of supporters within the sports fraternity in Ghana.

With close to about five hundred (500) people – made up of fans and officials – expected to attend the grand ceremony, leadership of the Ghana Supporters will use the occasion to spell out their vision and mission.

They will also explain the genesis of their formation and appeal to corporate Ghana to partner supporters in their role to supporting all national teams.

Despite being in the system already and playing a significant role in supporting all national teams, the launch of the official website and social media handles will mark the beginning of a new chapter for the Ghana Supporters.
