Former Steadfast FC winger Fatawu Issahaku emerges as player with the most chances created in English Championship

Former Steadfast FC winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has emerged as the player with the most chances created in the English Championship so far this season.

The former Dreams FC winger is having an amazing season with Leicester City in the English second tier. He joined the Foxes in the summer transfer window from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon and has since established himself as a key member of the team.

Issahaku has so far created 19 chances for Leicester City in the league, the highest in the ongoing English Championship campaign.

The 19-year-old Ghanaian international has scored two goals and provided seven assists in 22 Championship games this season.

The young winger who was named in coach Chris Hughton’s 55-man provisional two-weeks asked to be excused out of the final 27 man squad.

Issahaku’s participation in the AFCON tournament will affect his bid to establish himself as key member of the Leicester City after his season long loan deal from Sporting Lisbon, Portugal.
