Former Asante Kotoko striker, Osman Ibrahim has made a passionate appeal to the board chairman of Accra Hearts Of Oak, Togbe Afede XIV for medical assistance.
The former Kotoko top man is injured and needs a surgery to restore his anterior cruciate ligament.
Osman needs GHC40,000 for his anterior cruciate ligament injury surgery.
Osman picked up the injury while playing for King Faisal on loan from Asante Kotoko in 2022 and has since been unable to treat the injury due to financial constraints.
He wish to be assisted to be able to have a successful surgery after various efforts to be assisted by Asante Kotoko proved unsuccessful.
Speaking to HOT 93.9 fm, the player had this to say:
“I will want to appeal to Togbe Afede to aid me in my condition. I urgently need to operate my leg to be able to come back onto the turf again. He is current the only one who can help me,” he said.
“Looking at what he had been doing for Accra Hearts Of Oak players when they get injured, I am hopeful that he can assist me to get this done. May God touch his heart for him to assist me,” he added.
The condition of Osman came to the fore after former Legon Cities goalkeeper William Essu’s photos of being seriously sick went viral.
Just a day before that, Legon Cities goalkeeper Sylvester Sackey died from illness.
