Ghana Premier League leaders, FC Samartex have commemorated International Day of Education with Students of Women No Good community in the Western Region.
The club’s two captains, Emmanuel Adu Siaw and Emmanuel Keyekeh, along with the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) Municipal Director, Mrs. Gloria Addisu, spent yesterday with students at Women No Good basic school to commemorate the annual International Day of Education 2024 themed “Learning for Lasting Peace.”
This event provided our players with a special opportunity to interact with the students, during which they emphasized the importance of combining education with their individual talents, as education significantly impacts their overall development.
Additionally, the players encouraged the students to respect each other’s God-given talents and to value themselves.
Furthermore, they generously distributed books, pens, pencils, and other educational materials to support the children, sponsored by the NCCE, Samartex Timber and Plywood Company, and the Golden Tree Foundation.
