The Confederations of Africa Football, CAF, have announced an increment in the price money for the winner of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The winner of trophy will be taking home an amount of seven million dollars (US$7 million) with the runner up pocketing four million dollars (US$4 million) with $2.5 million going for the Semi-finalist.
The 34th edition of the competition is dated to start on the 13th January, 2024 to the 11th February, 2024 in Ivory Coast.
Senegal are the current holders of the trophy and will be leading the stage against twenty-three other countries to battle for the trophy and the new price money.
