Black Stars Kudus Mohammed is likely to start against Egypt- GFA Comm, Henry Asante Twum,

Good news to Ghanaians and Football loving fans likewise the Black Stars of Ghana. There have been multiple publication from various media outlets concerning Kudus Mohammed’s injury ahead of the critical 2023 AFCON game against the Pharaohs of Egypt.

Mohammed Kudus missed the Black Stars AFCON opener against Cape Verde, in which they suffered a heartbreaking loss, as he was recovering from a slight knock.

A relief communique from the Ghana FA, Kudus might kickoff his Afcon campaign in Ghana’s second group B game against Egypt.

According to the communication director of the Ghana FA, Henry Asante Twum, he [Kudus], before joining the group in a full training session on Monday, had been working out with the team’s physios.

“Normally, what he does is that after the first 15-20 minutes of training, he joins the physios for his personal training outside of the group.”

“Luckily, today [Monday], he trained with the rest of the squad. He stayed in the group training for the whole period. The medical team is still assessing him.

“He is back in full team training, and I am sure by Wednesday or Thursday he will be fine for that match.”- said.

The Black Stars will take on the Pharaohs of Egypt in a do-or-die affair on Thursday night. Catch the match live on StarTimes at 8 p.m.
