Ghana captain Andre Ayew has made history last night after his yet another appearance for Ghana joining Rigobert Song of Cameroon and Ahmed Hassan as players with most appearance in 8 Africa Cup of Nation AFCON.
Andre Ayew moment came after he was subbed on in the 62nd minute when the 34 year old came on to replace Ransford Yeboah on the field, with a game away from equaling Rigobert Song who hold the record with 36 appearance.
Andre Ayew’s National Team journey start in a friendly match against Senegal on August 21,2007 where he entered late in the game.
The 34 year old player has made 114 appearance for Ghana with 24 goals in his National Team cabinet.
Ghana lost 2-1 to Cape Verde in their opening game on Sunday night.
The Black Stars plays their next game against Egypt on Thursday at Stade Félix Houphouet Boigny at 8:00 pm GMT.
