Ghanaian defender, Alidu Seidu’s move to Stade Rennais FC is done after reaching agreement with his club Clermont Foot, according to a reliable source.
The deal which was done two days ago was said to be around €11 million plus bonuses happens to be the fourth bid the Renne submitted for the young defender, after their first three bids were rejected by the the Lancers but finally had their fourth bid accepted with official announcement very imminent after the African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The young defender,Alidu, has also already agreed a personal terms with the Red and Blacks and everything will be made official when he returns after the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.
The 23-year-old versatile defender has been outstanding this season, having made 14 appearances in the Ligue 1 so far with an assist to his belt.
He is yet to feature for the Black Stars at the AFCON and will hope for a starting berth against the Mambas of Mocambique on Monday, January 22, 2024.
