Former Ghana U23 forward Samuel Obeng was on target for SD Huesca as his team secured a 2-0 victory over FC Andorra in the Spanish La Liga 2 on Friday.
Obeng was named in the line-up at the Estadio El Alcoraz and played a crucial role in the win, lasting 86 minutes on the pitch.
The contest changed dramatically in the 27th minute when Diego Alende of FC Andorra was given a red card, leaving his team with ten men for the remainder of the game.
In just two minutes, Obeng scored a right-footed goal to the top centre of the goal, taking advantage of the set piece situation.
With Jorge Pulido’s assistance, SD Huesca scored the goal and took control of the match.
Throughout the game, Obeng caused issues for the FC Andorra defence by using his strength and quickness to open up opportunities for himself and his teammates. After a corner, Ignasi Vilarrasa assisted Elady in scoring SD Huesca’s second goal in the 64th minute.
The former CD Calahorra striker was rated 7.6 by Sofascore after the game, reflecting his impressive performance on the pitch.
