Ghana international Denis Odoi registered his first league goal in the Jupiler League in their 3-0 win over KRC Genk on Sunday.
The Ghana defender scored the second goal of the game on the 78th minute at the Cegeka Arena.
Hugo Vetlesen, a Norwegian midfielder, gave the visitors the lead in the 26th minute, just after Tolu Arokodare had missed a penalty kick for Genk.
In the 73rd minute, Odoi doubled Brugge’s lead after converting a ball from Maxim De Cuyper, a Belgian midfielder.
Five minutes from the end of the game, Norway international forward Andreas Skov Olsen completed the victory for Brugge by converting a penalty kick.
After their victory on Sunday, Brugge climbed to third place in the standings, while Genk stayed in sixth.
Odoi has made 27 appearances for Brugge this season in all competitions, scoring two goals.
