2024 Olympic Games Qualifier: Nora Hauptle hopeful Black Queens will build on performance in Accra t beat Zambia in Ndola

Black Queens head coach, Nora Hauptle is hopeful her side will build on their second half performance against Zambia to register a good outing in the second leg of the tie against the Copper Queens.

The Black Queens will take on the copper Queens of Zambia in the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games at the Levi Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on Wednesday.

Despite losing to Zambia by a loan goal in the first leg in Accra, the Black Queens head coach was impressed with the performance of her Queens.

Nora remains optimistic that her side will build on the second half performance of the team to fight for qualification against the copper Queens of Zambia on Wednesday.

“For me, it’s important we build on this performance,” she said after the first leg in Accra.

“The players showed a lot of our values, and teamwork. I think there was passion to win this game, passion to play football.

“Another 90 minutes to go and I’m convinced if we put one goal in it will explode,” she added..

The reverse fixture of the tie between Ghana and Zambia in the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games will be played on Wednesday, February 28.
