Ghana’s female senior national team – The black Queens – wrapped up their preparations on Thursday at the Accra Sports Stadium ahead of their clash with Zambia on Friday.
Supervised by head coach Nora Hauptle, the team went through their normal routine exercises and capped it with funny sessions to end a good day.
The Queens have been training since Monday in preparations for the game.
With no injury worries in camp, the Black Queens are expected to field a strong side against Zambia in a game that looks a difficult hurdle.
The team’s preparations had been enveloped by reports of their unpaid bonuses by the government after their qualification to the WAFCON about two months ago.
However, the team was handed a massive boost ahead of their final training on Thursday when the Ministry of Youth and Sports paid them all their outstanding bonuses and allowances.
With Zambia being one of Africa’s representatives at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2023, the task looks difficult for Ghana.
The game will kick-off at the Accra Sports Stadium at 17:00GMT on Friday.
