Ghana’s female U20 side – The Black Princesses – on Tuesday walloped Sea Lions 5-1 in a preparatory game ahead of the African Games.
Mukarama Abdulai opened the scoring in the 2nd minute through a penalty kick.
Beline Nyarkoh scored a brace within ten minutes after a great team play to make it 3:0 as Sea Lions pulled one back just before the first half whistle.
Back from the interval, Stella Nyamekye scored a sublime goal from the edge of the box to increase the tally before Maafia Nyame got on the end of a Tracey Twum cross for the fifth goal.
This training game forms part of the team’s preparation towards the African Games that kicks off on Friday, March 8,2024.
The Women football competition will take place at the Cape Coast sports stadium from March 9-21, 2024.
The Black Princesses will kick off their campaign against Ethiopia before playing against Tanzania and Uganda in the other Group A matches.
