Ghana’s U20 said – The Black Satellites – will hold their final training session this afternoon in Accra ahead of their opening match at the 13th African Games.
The training session will take place at the Achimota School Park on Thursday afternoon.
The Ghana U-20 team is getting ready to play the Congolese team in the Accra Sports Stadium on March 8, 2024, to begin their African Games campaign.
On Tuesday, the squad landed in Accra after spending a long time in training camps in Prampram and Cape Coast.
A friendly match versus Premier League team Legon Cities FC was held to commemorate their arrival. The game concluded in a goalless draw, featuring strong play from both teams.
All 20 players were present for the squad’s rigorous training session on Wednesday at their assigned training location.
The last part of their training will take place in the Achimota School Park on March 7, 2024, from 4:45 to 6:00 p.m.
Head coach Desmond Ofei is expected to address the media on Thursday afternoon in advance of this important meeting, sharing details on the team’s preparation and tactics for the forthcoming event.
